When is the 2019 Sarasota Film Festival?

The 20th Annual Sarasota Film Festival will run April 5 - 14, 2019.

How do I find out about the films, events, and parties?

Information about every Festival film and event is in the Film Guide! Each year, our digital Film Guide is available online, and hard copies are available at various businesses around town, and at our Box Office.

If you want to browse last year's Film Guide, and get a general sense of what the Festival has to offer, you can download the 2017 version here.

How much do film tickets cost?

Some of our special screenings have special prices, but in general:
$15 - General public
$11 - SFF Members Click here to learn more about becoming a member. 
$10 - Students, Educators, and School Administrators (with valid ID)

Children 12 and under may attend all SFF youthFEST films for FREE. Tickets are required and may be obtained at the SFF Box Office. 

How do I purchase tickets to films and events?

The 2018 Sarasota Film Festival Box Office will open to the public in March 2018. SFF Members will be able to purchase tickets in advance during Member Days. Gift Certficates are available for purchase year-round, by CLICKING HERE. Memberships are available for purchase year-round, by CLICKING HERE.

What are the Box Office hours?

The Box Office hours will be announce in March 2018.

What if there's a film I want to see and tickets are not available?

For films with limited space, we have a cash-only STANDBY line. On a first-in-line basis, patrons in the STANDBY line may be able to purchase seats that are open moments before the film begins.

How do I submit my film to the next Sarasota Film Festival?

Submissions for the 2018 Festival will open on July 1, 2017 via Film Freeway and withoutabox Please check back with us then for more details!

Does SFF offer any education programs? For adults, too?

The SFF Education department offers a variety of in-classroom and out-of-classroom education programs, for students from elementary school through adulthood, at no cost. To learn more about our year-round education and outreach initiatives, visit the "Community" section of our website. 

Can I volunteer at the Sarasota Film Festival? Can I earn service hours?

Absolutely! Our volunteer work force is key to the success of our festival, and since we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, you can earn service hours for your school. Find out more information about volunteering by CLICKING HERE.
