Arthur's Box

Arthur is a solitary night-shift doorman on New York City’s Upper East Side, who is anchored by ritual. Each shift ends at dawn with a croissant, black coffee, and journaling on the same Central Park bench. A nocturnal, nearly invisible presence on the fringes of the city, he has carved out a sense of stability, if not contentment, within his tightly-controlled world. But when a new tenant piques his interest, his structure - along with his comfort zone - begins to shift. Director Satya Sawhney fashions a unique, intense character exploring the boundary between observation and intrusion as Arthurs’s carefully ordered world is challenged.
